I cut Maoster 4 strawberries today for snack.
After looking at his plate for 5 mins, he didn't really eat them.
My MIL was telling me maybe he is not hungry so he wasn't interested.
I took one up and say, you wanna try this? And I pop it into my mouth casually.
Maoster STORMED. One of the storms that he gives when he is angry or provoked not a sight that is unusual for I suspect my little angel is now in his terrible 2s.
He cried, he wailed, he pointed at me and he banged the table.
My authority being questioned was of no joke to me, I went to him, stared hard at him and told him to be quiet and stop crying. I told him that in this family, no one shouts nor bang the table. And, afterall what's the BIG FAT Deal about eating one tiny bit of strawberries. We counted there were 10 left on his plate!
Aung, seeing the situation, decided to play it right by telling his son that his manner is not to be pursued and its madness and he is a far better boy than he himself knows. Whatever that means!
After 2 mins (his storm is normally short), he continued with his strawberries and I retreated for some TV therapy.
During his nap time, as Aung and myself were watching TV together, he began by saying, Oh, what a stormy boy we have! And suddenly very gently, he looked at me (oh yes that's where I realised I am into the middle of "pep" talk) and says, Well, you know your son stared at his strawberries for a very very very long time. He smelt them, he touched them, he loved them so much that he didn't really bear to eat them. Then you walked along and eat it up so casually and he stormed. He even licked the last one before he popped it inside his mouth! So you must understand, he is just very very surprised and shocked by your act!
Oh well, now i feel like this super greedy, non sensitive bitch that goes around stealing food from kids!
I am so going to cut my son more strawberries after he wakes up from his nap and this time, I AM NOT EATING ANYONE OF THEM!

Don't worry you will have so much of your power genes that it will definitely flow to your boy..... Good luck to us both!
i cannot imagine him doing that!
